One of the most prestigious law firms in the country and one of the biggest in Houston, is always at the top of their game and is considered a “go-to” boutique firm when billions of dollars are on the line.  The firm has been successfully involved in a number of multi-billion-dollar litigation cases over the several decades that they have been practicing corporate law.  Such success comes only when the company’s name, brand and culture is always at the top of their game and thus drives their top talent recruitment to be successful for many decades to come.

What

The law firm had a need for developing a new robust Content Management System (CMS) and a publicly facing site driven by the CMS and is based on Open Source architecture of WordPress with intricate integration.  Ease of long term maintenance was a critical factor, where they do not rely on and are not tied down to a third party vendor for long-term support. The project required the highest level of design to complement the stringent back-end integration to make the CMS system a part of their Winning Competitive Advantage in the litigation market place while at the same time reducing the annual support cost by as much as $110K on the existing CMS system.

How

Zont Group used a hybrid model of local Project Manager and remote development team with Europe based designer that took about 7 months to develop a very design heavy site with stable and secure WordPress solution hosted in the public hosting.  The integration and the website were designed from the perspective for very low maintenance and easy configuration for future proofing the firm’s growth and expansion of the CRM and the website.  The entire solution cut approximately $110K from existing solution’s upgrade needs and over $40K in annual savings from maintenance fees of third-party vendors.
